This book was my first Rebecca Yarros read, and I must say, I loved it. It had many unique components. I loved the plot, the chemistry and then characters. I am so glad I discovered this book!

Paxton is a crazy and wild X Gamer. He likes to love on the edge. He does too anything half way. To get on a cruise ship, he zip lines. That is just Paxton. He is rich and handsome. Girls throw themselves at his feet. The only thing he needs help with is school. Enter, Leah. She has been hired to keep his grades up so he can keeps his end of the bargain with his dad. Good grades and finishing college means he gets the funding he needs to make his movie.

Leah and Paxton are opposites, but it works so well, that you are rooting for them from the start. They complement each other without even knowing how or why. Both have pasts that they don't share, and it makes them who they are, but at the same time, their walls come down to each other.

I really didn't know anything about this book going into it, and I loved it. I thought it was going to be another sports romance, but it was so much more. There was romance and mystery and surprise! I could not put this book down once I started it. I had to know what was going to happen next. There was so much going on with the whole thing.. I loved it. And, now I found out it is a series!! LOVE !!!

This is a beginning of a new love affair between me and this series!!
