The Hazards of Sex on the Beach Cover

One broken heart, one drink too many, one steamy night in the sand...

ABOUT ON THE ROCKS (Mixology #2):

Love is best served on the rocks.

My roommates look really good naked. At least one of them does. I’m sure the other one does too, but I haven’t seen him without his pants on. Living with two guys wasn't something I’d ever considered, but the opportunity fell in my lap, and I’d have been crazy to turn it down.

College went by in a great big blur leaving me with less of a direction than I had going in. Add in a family that wanted nothing to do with me, and my post-college plans were less than clear. What’s a girl to do when she has nowhere else to turn? She moves to the Outer Banks and learns to bartend. After all, it was my horrible bartending skills that led me to my roommate’s bed and into his heart.

Alyssa Rose Ivy- Author PhotoABOUT ALYSSA ROSE IVY:

Alyssa Rose Ivy is a New Adult and Young Adult author who loves to weave stories with romance and a southern setting. Although raised in the New York area, she fell in love with the South after moving to New Orleans for college. After years as a perpetual student, she turned back to her creative side and decided to write. She lives in North Carolina with her husband and two young children, and she can usually be found with a cup of coffee in her hand.

Girl Lost Synopsis:

Northern was supposed to be a fresh start—a place where people didn’t know who I was or how I had spent years in and out of mental institutes. People didn't know about my parents death or the island no one heard of. But when Peter sits next to me in lit class, I can’t stop the memories, and I don’t want to. He looks too much like the boy from the island, and despite my best intentions, coaxes my secrets from me.
He’s gorgeous, irresistible, a little mad, and completely lost—we are a pair of broken cogs in a world neither of us truly fits into. He is somehow gentle and fierce, heartbreaking in his devotion and savage in his defense.
When Belle, his best friend, shows up, pale and lovely and sick, Peter pulls away from me, a startling withdrawal. It’s a relationship that scares and confuses me. She is at times warm and friendly, and other times is violent and unpredictable.
Peter says that he wants me, but refuses to let himself get close. And there are secrets, surrounding both of us, that border on nightmares. As the memories close in, as Belle gets sicker and more violent, I’m torn between what is true and what I believe, and what this magical boy knows about my mysterious past.

imageMy name is Slade Merrick and I’m a fucking sex addict . . .

I’ve been told it’s a problem. But I see it as a passion; something that I’m good at. And who the fuck stops something that they’re good at?

They want me to seek help; get my cock in check. Don't judge my lifestyle. You’re no better than me. Just admit it, you like to fuck too. Sex is what I do best; my own personal high, so I embrace it instead of being ashamed.

When I'm not fucking, I'm slinging drinks at Walk Of Shame or stripping my way into your bed; another thing I'm good at. Every woman’s darkest fantasy brought to life.

So, am I stopping? Fuck no. Sex is beautiful, raw and erotic and I get off knowing I can have it with anyone I want . . . with the exception of her.

She walks into the club swaying those hips, instantly drawing my cock to attention. She’s pure perfection. That is, until she opens that mouth, drawing me in and for the first time in forever I want something more than sex. I want her and she hates it.

Things get dirty. Dirty is what I like; it’s how I live. But . . . she’s playing a game she can never win.

imageIt’s dark.

I love it with the lights off. She insisted on teasing me this way. My arms are tied behind me; my naked body bound to a chair. Goose bumps prickle my flesh as she softly blows on my hard cock, almost breaking my willpower. Her lips are so close, yet not close enough. I insist on teasing her this way.

“Na ah, not yet, baby.”

She tilts her head up, her blond hair cascading over her shoulders as her eyes lock with mine. They’re intense; desperate. She’s silently begging me with her eyes; asking me to let her touch me already. I’m used to this. She needs to learn that when you’re in my house we play by my rules. “Slade,” she whimpers. “Come on already.”

“Look down, baby.” She tilts her head back down and runs her tongue over her lips as she eagerly looks at my cock; no doubt imagining what it tastes like in her mouth. “That’s it. Don’t move.”

I lift my hips, bringing the tip of my head to brush her lips. “You want me in your mouth?”

She nods her head and lets out a sound between a moan and a growl. Damn, it’s such a turn on.

“How bad do you want it? I want to fucking hear it?”

Her nails dig into my thighs as she growls in aggravation, “More than anything. I fucking want it so just give it to me, dammit. You already know how bad I want it.”

A deep laugh rumbles in my throat as she scratches her nails down my legs in an attempt to hurt me. What she doesn’t realize is that I welcome the pain. I get off on it.

“Is that all you got, pussycat?” I tease. “If you want my cock, you’re going to have to do better than that.”

She looks angry now; determined. Standing up, she points a finger in my chest. “You’re the one tied up. This is supposed to be my game. Why do you have to torture me and make me wait?”

Biting my bottom lip, I nod for her to move closer to me. When she gets close to my face, I stick my tongue out and run it over her lips, causing her to tremble as I taste her. “Show. Me. How. Much. You. Want. Me.”

Straddling me, she screams and slaps me hard across the face before yanking my head back by my hair. If I could get any harder, I would.

Fuck me.

“Now, that’s what I’m talking about.” I press my stiff cock against her ass, showing her just how turned on I am. Then I look her in the eye. “Show me what you can do with your mouth. First impression is always the most important.”

A mischievous smile spreads across her face as she slithers her way off my lap and down between my legs. Gripping my thighs in her hands, she runs her tongue over the tip of my dick before suctioning it into her mouth. It hits the back of her throat, causing her to gag. She doesn’t care; completely uninhibited. She just shoves it deeper.

Fuck yeah.

I moan as she swirls her tongue around my shaft while sucking at the same time. It feels fucking fantastic. “I told you it’s worth the wait, baby. Just wait until I get inside you. It feels better than it tastes.”

She pulls back and licks her lips. “Then why don’t you show me. My pussy has never been so wet.” She stands up and bends over in front of me, exposing her wet lips. I can see the moisture glistening from here; beckoning to suck me inside.  She smiles as she runs her fingers over the folds as if she’s teasing me; testing me. “You like that?” She asks seductively, tantalizing me. “You want this tight little pussy all for yourself, you greedy little bastard?”

I nod, playing into her little game. She seems to think she’s in charge.

“Well, come and get it.” She inserts her fingers into her mouth and sucks them clean, before shoving them into her entrance, fucking me with her eyes. Her ass moves up and down in perfect rhythm as she purrs. “I’m waiting.” She shoves her fingers deeper. “I want to see those muscles flexing as you ram into me. I want you to…”

Well you won’t be waiting for long.

Breaking free from my restraints, I stand up, grab her hips and flip her around before slamming her back up against the wall. “What were you saying, baby?” I growl into her ear. I grip both of her ass cheeks and lift her as she wraps her legs around my waist, squeezing. “I’m not sure you can handle what I have to offer.” I grip her face in my hand before leaning in and biting her bottom lip, roughly tugging. “You’re finally about to get what you’ve wanted. I just hope you don’t have shit to do for the next few days because this might get a little rough. Last time to make your escape, because once I start there’s no stopping until you’re screaming my name loud; so loud it fucking hurts my ears.” I search her eyes waiting to see if she’s changed her mind; nothing but raw heat and lust. She still wants it. She’s brave. No girl walks into my bed and walks out unscathed.  So, she’ll get it. I lift an eyebrow. “Okay, then.”

I take wide strides across the room to my king-sized bed and toss her atop the mattress. Before she can blink, I am between her thighs, spreading them wide for me. I run my tongue up her smooth flesh, stopping at intersection of her thighs and clean shaven pussy. “You ready for me to make you cum without even touching you?”

I begin blowing my cool breath across her swollen, wet pussy. She thrusts her hips up; no doubt her hungry little pussy wanting more and just as I’m about to show her my skills, there’s a knock at the damn door.

Darkness #1

Novella (191 pages)
New Adult (18 +) Paranormal/Fantasy Romance
Released January 2014
I’d always been different. I saw objects in the night where others saw emptiness. Large, human shaped shadows, fierce yet beautiful, melting into the darkness. I collected secrets like other women collected bells; afraid to fully trust lest my oddities be exposed.
Until I saw him. He’d been gliding down the street, unshakable confidence in every step. It wasn’t just that he was breathtakingly handsome with perfect features. Something about him drew me. Sucked my focus to him and then tugged at my body. As his eyes met mine, I was entrapped.
No one had noticed him. He’d been right there, just beyond the light, but only I had perceived.
I had to know if he was real. Or maybe I really was crazy. And even when my secret box was blasted wide open, dangers hurled at me like throwing knives, I couldn’t stop until I unraveled his true identity.
I just had to know.
“She was fated to live.”
“Then why must you save her?”
“Often Fate is struck down by dumb luck.”
New Adult (18 +) due to sexual content and not for the faint of heart.

Sasha, orphaned at a young age, always knew that she was not your normal girl.  She thrived by looking into the dark, sensing that there was more out there than meets the eye.  She was shocked when she was able to see creatures moving in the darkness.

As the story unfolds, Sasha and Jared, boyfriend, happen to come into contact with a couple of these creatures, who turn out to be vampires of sorts.  Not your ordinary vampires, more a breed of sexual beings that are able to get into your minds, making you feel and want sex all the time then able to make you forget it all.

These vampires are fighting a silent war among other creatures in the night unknown to humans.  Stefan, sexy alpha male is the leader of this group of vampires.  Sasha spikes an interest in Stefan that has him questions himself when she is around.

Sasha needs answers as to why she can see them, can feel when Stefan is near.  She puts herself in danger to bring Stefan out.  As both the bad creatures and Stefan find Sasha, the fight begins.  Stefan seems to be losing his battle with the creatures, Sasha unable to let anything happen to him, is able to dig deep inside her to find a spark of hope.  As she unleash something on the creatures, she is able to save them.

Sasha possesses some kind of dark magical powers that she did not know she had.  She is wanted by both the creatures and Stefan, unsure of if she is good or evil.

I am looking forward to the next books in this series to see how Sasha learns to deal with her new found magic.  Will Stefan and Sasha continue to deny their destiny to be together? Can Stefan’s group of vampires win the war waging on during the night?

About the Author
A wine country native, she moved to San Francisco for college just shy of a decade ago to pursue a lifelong interest in film. As she settled into the vibrant city, it quickly became apparent that, while she thought making films was great fun, she lacked cinematic genius. For that reason, her career path quickly changed direction. Her next goal was a strange childhood interest, conjured at the dining room table while filling out a form. For some reason, her young self wanted to be an accountant. Thinking on it now, she wonders how she had any friends. Regardless, it was the direction she finally took.
While she could wrangle numbers with the best of 'em, and even though she wore the crown as the most outspoken, belligerent accountant in the world, her mind got as stuffy as her daily routine. It was here that she dusted off her creative hat and began writing. Now she makes movies in her head, and then writes them down. Way easier than dealing with actors--she should know, she’s been one!

Slowly We Trust is the 3rd installment of the Fall and Rise Series. This time the story centers around Audrey Valdez  and Will Anders. As you may remember, Will is the twin of Lottie. So, if you follow the series, you will see and the other characters that follow throughout. It makes you feel like the gang is al back together (even though they never really left).

Will is a dorky, Star Wars loving, fun guy who is head over heals in love with Audrey. So in love with her, he tells her on New Year's Eve. At midnight. . Andrey liked their relationship before Will had to declare his feelings. She was not looking for anything serious. Audrey panics when Will declares his feelings and bolts. Like she literally runs out the door.  From that point on, she decides to push  Will
away and keep her distance. This is extremely hard because they share all the same friends. Especially his sister. Lottie is put in the middle.  Poor Lottie doesn't want to lose her friend or hurt her brother.

The chemistry that Will and Audrey share can not keep them apart for long. That fact and Will's persistence. Will tries to do whatever he can to keep fighting for Audrey. He will be her friend. He pretty much lets her walk all over him. Andrey can not keep away from Will no matter how hard she tries to be just friends with him.
They are adorable together. In a weird way.

The main reason Audrey wants to keep things with Will platonic has to do with a secret she is keeping. A big one. One that not many people outside her family know about. There is a lot of sneaky phone calls and visits made by Audrey to keep what she doesn't want anyone to find out about. She is afraid when people do find out, things will be different.
There are some major twists and turns. Will is a great guy who is there every step of the way. He is a truly great book boyfriend.

Book one in the Men of Passion Series: A contemporary erotic series about the passions and devotion of five men to the one woman who loves them all...

Kayla Saradon is a beautiful, respected psychiatrist who her friends claim has discovered the fountain of youth. Kayla wonders what her friends would say if they knew her secret is the polyandry lifestyle she shares with her four, studly "husbands" — each skilled in his own sexual specialty?

Then PI, Trey Sean Cameron, who is secretly investigating her lifestyle, explodes into her life. The ex-Army Special Forces operative raises emotions Kayla can neither control nor contain. Can Trey — a demanding and possessive lover — ever share in her lifestyle? If not, how far will she go to keep him?

Pretending to be a reporter getting
the inside scoop on Dr. Kayla Saradon’s life was turning out to be very
enjoyable for Trey. They had finished the meal. Kayla declined dessert, so Trey
ordered coffees, reluctant for their time together to end and sure it would
when they left the restaurant.
They had settled into a silence
that Trey was unsure how to break. He was thankful when Kayla took the
“Why don’t we continue the
interview in your room, Devon? We could talk more privately there.”
He was both surprised and pleased as
he met those extraordinary green eyes.
“That would be perfect. I would
have suggested that, but I didn’t know what you would think. I wouldn’t want to
compromise your—ah—reputation.”
Kayla laughed. “I don’t care what people say, Devon. I deal
in truths, not innuendoes or rumors, and I have no patience with those who
cater to that kind of subtle slander.”
she’s a woman after my own heart
! “Good to know.”
He paid the check and they left the
dining area. Kayla excused herself briefly in the lobby, walking away to make a
quick phone call before rejoining him at the elevator.
Once in his room, Kayla immediately
kicked off her shoes. She curled comfortably on the two-seater couch while Trey
watched in utter fascination.
“Now, why don't you sit down beside me and get comfortable,
as well, and let’s really talk,” she suggested, patting the place next to her.
Trey sat down but was far from
feeling comfortable. Having her this close, he couldn’t help but visualize her
on the bed, naked and inviting. He hoped his thoughts, growing warmer by the
minute as he inhaled her enticing flowery perfume, wouldn’t become an
embarrassment he couldn’t hide.
“I take it you had the proverbial
perfect childhood, Kayla. All the luxuries, the right schools and so forth?”
“It wasn’t perfect by any means.
But yes, I did have the opportunity for the best education. So it was probably
better than a lot of others. My parents expected me to do well in school, and I
did because I didn’t want to disappoint them. And actually I always strove for
academic perfection for my own sake, as well, because I wanted to accomplish
things and knew the proper education was the way to do that.”
Trey inwardly flinched, remembering
those years when he had determinedly stayed in school, regardless of his hand-me-down
clothes and the way some of the kids made fun of him in his younger years and
then later, regardless of the times he had to go with his back and butt raw and
sore from a beating. He had, however, managed to live through it and get that
diploma that he, too, had felt was important, before he left to join the army.
“Tell me about your parents,” he
said, to cover up his own bitter memory flashes.
“They were very socially conscious
and expected me to be ever aware of how my actions reflected on our good name.
If I could fault them for anything, it might be their overzealous desire for me
to walk a social-acceptance line. That’s hard to do when you really want to
‘run with the bulls,’ if you know what I mean. But I was a dutiful daughter.
“I believe I read that they were
killed in a car accident.”
“That’s right. Right after I
graduated from university. You know, Devon, I’ve noticed that you aren’t taking
notes. Do you have a photographic memory, by any chance?
Trey silently cursed his lack of
judgment and decided to add yet another lie to the pile. “Yes, I do.”
“How interesting. We share that
trait and I know that, at times, it becomes a nuisance, doesn’t it?”
Add to the pile! “So you are
blessed, or maybe I should say cursed, the same way? And yes, it does
“From experience I know that those
of us with photographic memories usually have total recall, yet in some
instances not. So, tell me, do you recall every detail of practically
everything said to you?”
God, it’s getting deep. “Not
really. I’ve learned to block some things out, as I’m sure you have. But I
assure you I will recall your every word, Kayla,” he said it in a soft,
inviting tone that he hoped said more than just those words. He held her eyes
as he smiled. She returned the smile and for a minute, they didn’t speak. There
was no need for words. That electric current was vibrating between them
again.      Feeling drawn to her,
overwhelmed by her nearness, Trey leaned toward her, his eyes holding fast on
those inviting, luscious lips. Simultaneously, she leaned toward him and their
lips touched, lightly at first. Then he pulled her closer, deepening the kiss,
his tongue seeking hers, delving into her open and receptive mouth.
When their lips parted, he expected her to pull away, but
she didn’t. He stood, pulling her up, and melded her against his rock-hard
shaft wedged against her yielding body.
“I know this is unprofessional, but
damn, Kayla, I want you.”
“I can tell,” she said bluntly, her
green eyes alight with a mischievous gleam as her hand reached to touch him, to
fondle and explore his turgid length.
“My heavens, you’re impressive.”
she chuckled.
“God! You know what you’re doing to
me? But since I’m not sure what I’m doing to you, I guess the ball is in your
hands,” he said as he kissed her again, hungrily and imploringly.
Trey could feel her trembling, with
what he hoped was desire as they parted.
“You could write a very revealing story about me if I gave in to what I
really wanted to do right now. You don’t write exposés, do you, Devon?”
“Story be damned! This is a private
time, between the two of us and nobody else,” he assured her.
“So what happens from here on is
off the record?”
