It is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of Chicago. The family struggles with adjusting to say the least. The Delgado's have to change their lives dramatically and all the siblings are having a new time with their new lives and home.

Adri is a new school teacher where the youngest Delgado attending school. She instantly takes him under her wing. Sherm is having a hard time. He is not speaking to many people and sometimes not at all.  Adri has lived in Port St Mary her whole life and her father is police chief.

Rob is the oldest Delgado and is not in charge of taking care of everyone. He feels responsible for them all entering Witness Protection. He knows the dangers the family is in and does everything in his power to make sure they are all going to be ok.

Rob and Adri become involved due to Sherm and Adri's closeness to the cold, as well as the attraction they each feel for each other.

This book was a  little slow for me. I struggled to keep myself to finish it. I thought it would have been a lot faster paced with much more drama. The whole Mafia angel had me thinking this was going to be a lot different than it really was.
