Wind Chime Wedding continues the tale of residents of Heron Island. This time we are following Becca Haddaway's story. She is an elementary school teacher on the island who is going to marry her childhood sweetheart and leave the island to follow him to DC.

Right off the bat, you can see that Becca loves the island more than most. It is in her blood. She loves small town living and all of her friends and family who live there. When Becca learns of the state closing down the school because of budget funding, she tries to figure out a way to keep it open. Even though she is no longer going to work there once she is married, it means too much to her to let it close forever.

Becca approaches Colin Foley  for help. His dad is governor and he is a vet. He is struggling in his own way, Colin in an amputee who is readjusting to life back in the States. Colin is mostly a quite guy who is working on the Inn.

When Becca and Colin starting spending time together to help the school, feelings start to develop. Becca realizes where her heart and loyalties rely. Colin starts to make Becca see that she doesn't want a life in DC. Her heart is on the island. Now, he needs to make her realize her fiancee is not the man she is meant to spend her life with..

I loved that we got to see all the characters from Wind Chime Cafe. It was great that they were included in this book.

Sophie Moss is a fantastic writer that really knows how to drawn out the feelings you have for characters. You become 100 percent invested in her books.
