As this was my first book by this author, I can truly say that she now as a major fan.  I loved this book.  I loved Parker and I enjoyed Brooklyn.  

Parker Morgan, the over great guy that everyone loves, has a secret that has him wanting to run far away from his hometown.  He plans to leave after the summer to start over fresh in another state.  But as all good plans, there is always something that causes them to go array.  Enter Brooklyn Reeves.

Brooklyn Reeves has been living the same life for the past 2 years.  She has not been able to move on from her husband’s death.  She needs to learn to let go of the guilt and pain that she has felt everyday for the past 2 years.  So a move to a new house, a new town is exactly what she needs.  What she wasn’t expecting was the way her body reacts to the handyman, Parker.

As Parker and Brooklyn get to know each other more each day, the attraction and desire seems to grow bigger too.  Will Brooklyn be able to finally let go of her past and move forward with Parker?  Can Parker let Brooklyn into his life and share his past with her?  And will she still accept him after learning his secret?  

I have to go back and read the rest of this series.  I loved Marquita’s way of writing.  And the story that she is able to tell will have you not putting the book down until the last page is turned.
