I know this is going to be not the review people want, but I did't love this story. Von and Miller's relationship, as well as their lives were very sad and draining. There was almost too much pain in this story. They are best friends who have gone through a lot, and have been secretly in love with each other for years.

 The books stand around 5 years, but it feels like so much more. They story ends around 18/19. For me, it didn't seem very realistic. Especially the ending. 

I know my opinion is not going to be popular, but I just didn't love it. And I am a fan of Emma Scott's other books.
