Melissa Foster never disappoints me. She is truly a writing genius. No matter her subject manner, she nails it. Seaside Whisper is no different. This is a beautiful story about Matt, who comes to the small town to regroup and get to relax a little while on sabbatical from Princeton. He is a very smart man who has been focused on his career for the longest time. Now, he has met someone who has peeked his interest and wants to see if he can make it work.
Mira is a single mom of a cute little boy who doesn't have time for a love life. She is focused on her son and only him. She is not even sure what dating is anymore. To add to it, Mira is not sure she wants to start anything with Matt, knowing he is only there for a short time. Why add more heartache to her or her son when Matt leaves.
Matt is so sure that this will work, he is going to try any angel he can to win Mira over.
I love this Seaside series. I especially love how Melissa can work in past characters and intertwine them into more and more books! It is like visiting old friends with new ones!!
