Skirting the Ice is a cute story about getting a second chance at love with the crush of your teenage years. Jack Bannister always had a thing for Murphy Ryan. She used to be the girl who visited her grandfather next door. Murphy was the crush who got away.
Now Murphy is back after inheriting the house she used to visit. Her grandfather left her the home, ad Jack is still living next door with mom and dad. Jack has big shoes to fill, considering his 2 brothers play for the NHL. He has always been the brainy one, Never the athletic his brothers were.
Now that Murphy is back, he doesn't want to let her get away a second time. Jack is geeky but hot and Murphy is cute and knows sports and how to hold her own. This time, fate seems to be on their side!
