I loved A Promise Kept... seriously loved it. I could not wait to read this book. I didn't love A Promise Made as much as I did the other one...
I was so excited that Josh was getting his own book! He is a personal trainer and amazing guy. Everyone thinks he is totally a muscle man, but in reality, he works hard at keeping himself health and happy. Mental and physically.
Marla has a lot of issues. One being not wanting to deal with men like her ex again. HE was a MMA fighter and did not treat her well. Now, she is focused on work and getting ahead. She has no time for relationships, especially with someone like Josh.
Josh makes it his mission to her Marla to go out with him and see he is not who she thinks he is. Josh wants the happy ever after. He is not the type of guy who bounces from women to women. He is ready for the long haul.
I liked the story, but Marla was a little annoying. We get she was burned... we get it. She needs to move on and grow up a little. The way she treated poor Josh at the beginning was immature. Like I said, I LOVED A Promise Kept. This one didn't meet my expectations.
