I am a huge fan of Katy Evans... and I feel like this is her best book to date. Don't get me wrong, I loved Real, but this is Katy Evans' showing another side to her writing. She has gone from MMA to the White House. And she did it perfectly.
Matthew Hamilton is groomed to be President from a young age. His father was President and he always saw himself in the White House. After his father's death, he took a back seat to policies and made a name for himself as a businessman. Now, he has decided to run Independent for President. He doesn't want to be on either political party, not agreeing with either of them. It is time for a change, and he is the man to do it.
Charlotte Wells is the daughter of a Senator. She has been around politics her whole life. When she was young, she met Matthew. She wrote him a cute letter telling him she would help him of he read fro President someday. Well, that someday is now and Matthew is cashing in on her promise.
The chemistry is intense between Matthew and Charlotte. Charlotte has always had a crush on Matthew (along with the rest of the female population). Now that she is older, Matthew sees more to Charlotte that the little girl he once met. She is smart, sassy and understands him.
I thought this book was perfect for an election year. I am dying to see where this story goes!!
