Cute Christmas/ second chance love story about Monique and Trace, who at one time had a relationship, but broke up when Trace went on tour and became a famous singer.
Now Trace is back in town to settle some family matters, and runs into Monique. All the feelings are still there. It is like nothing has passed between them, expect Monique had gotten married, divorced and has a sweet little girl names Adele. She is the highlight of the book for me... cute little thing.
Monique is afraid go everything Trace is. She has already endured a failed marriage. She doesn't want to put Adele through anymore pain. Adele's father is not really father of the year material.
The story was short and sweet. For me, it lacked substance. It never got into any real background or details. It was light a light hearted movie.
