| First of all, I am now addicted to Lauren Layne 's books. Send of all, I love this series!!! This books is about Heather. I love Heather... Heather Fowler finally gets promoted from assistant to a wedding planner. Her dreams are finally coming true. THIS is what she moved to NYC for. She has the dream apartment, the dream job, everything is falling into place. She could not be happier. Oh for except one little thing...her next door neighbor, Josh Tanner. Josh is living his life like a frat boy in a grown man's body. He plays loud music, has countless people over and just drives Heather crazy.I loved the chemistry and the banter between Josh and Heather. I loved Josh's mom and the way she is open and funny. There was so much I loved about this book. Small town girl making a name for herself in the city vs. city boy who gave up his big time Wall Street job to find out what truly makes him happy after he faced death. It was funny and cute and heartbreaking all rolled into one adorable story. Josh and that ending had me in tears. I love a good man, and that is what Josh was. He just needed to see that life is best when you let other people in..... |
