I am kinda like Callie... I love firemen... so I thought this book was right up my alley. Who doesn't love a hot fireman??
The first half of this book was about Callie's relationship Chase. Since Callie moved into a house right near the fire station, she met Chase right away and started dating him. Something seemed off with Chase from the start and I didn't really warm up to him.
Then half way through the book, no more Chase. I was right with my suspicions and Chase was out.. Now, I am the kind of reader who like the lead characters to meet and fall in love and have a happy ever ever. But, half way through the book, Callie meets Ash, another firefighter, who is another love interest. There is no real love triangle, but I felt like the first half of the book was a waste to read about someone who didn't work out. That is just my opinion. It there me for a loop.
