I have read many of Mari Carr's books and have loved each of them. She write her characters so well. they seem like real people. Everyday people with the same struggles and characteristics we all have. Seducing The Boss was more real then it sounded.
Kellan is a ladies man. He doesn't do relationships. He is strictly a one night stand type of guy. Sara is a friend of Kellan's who is also a nurse at the hospital that he is the CEO of. after being stood up on a bling date, Kellan swoops in and tries to save the day for Sara. Kellan should have realized Sara doesn't need a white knight. What she needs is a real man.
Sara has been without a man in her life for a while and when Kellan makes a crazy suggestion of scratching an itch for Sara, she hesitantly agrees. One night turns into one whole weekend together. Then back to being friends and co workers. No one told both Sara and Kellan that they were not suppose to fall in love.
Kellan, is scared and unsure what t do with his real feeling for Sara. He knows he is not the type of man she should be with. She deserves more than what he can give. Kellan has some issues that makes him never want to get married or try a serious relationship. He first needs to work on himself before he can be the man Sara needs.
I loved this story. It was real and raw at some points and sexy and hot at others!!
