Fast forward a few months, Rachel decided to go on her nonrefundable honeymoon solo. I mean, wow. I don't think I could do that! There she runs into Detective Derek Turner, whose she met when living in Texas. He is hot and also burned by a past love. Their chemistry jumps off the pages and seems to be what the other needs to have fun and get over their pasts. Add the romantic backdrop of Hawaii and how could you not fall in love.
Their time in Hawaii is hot and amazing, but they need to face the reality that Rachel lives in Michigan and Derek in Texas.
Can their new found romance survive leaving Hawaii???
I loved this book. The first 30 percent was a little slow for me, but once I got through that part, they book flew for me and I didn't want to put it down!!
