A quick and fast read by the amazing Kendall Ryan!!! She knows how to tell a story!!
And what s story this was. Shawn has list his wife. He is hurt and doesn't deal with it well. But every Wednesday he seeks out Chloe for a hot encounter. No words exchanged, no feelings, just sex. This has been going on since just after his wife died.
Chloe sees her "relationship" with Shawn as a way to help him heal. There is no much anyone can do to console him. Since she has been his best friend for most of their lives, she sees it as nothing more than friendship and comfort.... until feelings get involved.
Chloe knows that she is starting to develop serious and strong feelings for Shawn. Maybe this feelings were always there and she has buried them. Now, she is seeing that there could be something more if Shawn is ready to move on.
Shawn has secrets about his deceased wife. HE doesn't want to share them with anyone. It is keeping him from moving on. Can he let the past go and be happy again??
