First of all I am a HUGE Lex Ryan fan. Her "Dearest Series" is a favorite of mine. Now we are spinning off to Shameless. This is Brady who you met if you read the other series. 

Brady's life is changing in a blink of an eye into something he could have never predicted. He goes from single guy living in Boston tattooing when he can to something bigger overnight. 

Brady gets phone call that changes his life. His estranged brother and sister in law are killed in a flood. There is only one person who can go to Texas and deal with everything. The shock of what has happened has sent his father into the cardiac unit. Now, Brady is forced to go to Texas and take care of everything that was his brother's life.... including his 1 year old daughter. 

Brady has been on the outs with his brother for a while. He was hurt that his brother left his family in Boston behind when he met a girl in Texas. Brady had to be the one who dealt with everything at home, when Cal got to start fresh and be happy.


Katherine was Melissa's best friend. Melissa and Cal took Katherine in when she was lost and needed a place to regroup. She is now helping care for the farm and for baby Isabella while Brady tried to figure everything out. 

Katherine and Brady are thrown together in the most unfortunate of circumstances, but there is a spark there. While it not be the right time to start anything, the two of them try to fight off their feelings towards each other with no success.

I loved Brady. He melted my heart. He was so good with Isabella. Oh lord. ..... I was in tears at some points. 

This was a great heartwarming story!! Another hot from Lex Martin!!
