I gotta say.... I loved this book!!
Kellan Boyd and Ava Cross have one heck of a first meeting. Each is aggravated and not at their best, add in a car accident and it could ruin any one's day. Ava is just trying to get to work and make her boss happy. Kellan is driving his expensive car thinking he is the most important thing in the world. Fame will do that to you. After butting heads and cars, they leave each other with quite the first impression. It doesn't help that each finds the other extremely attractive.
Fast forward a few weeks. Ava is on a road trip from hell with her best friend. When they get stranded in the middle of no where.... who is their reluctant knight in shinning armor?? Kellan Boyd!! Mr Hot and Flashy car is on a farm, a real live cowboy! But this must not be right. How does Kellan go from NYC hotshot to cowboy???
When Ava ends up spending a week with Kellan on his ranch their chemistry and attraction can not be held off for too long. Even though they try to fight it, they are extremely attracted to each other. Meanwhile.... HUGE secrets are kept and each doesn't want this to end, but it must.
This book had to be like an awesome soap opera that is mixed with some steamy love scene and added in to a happy ever after. It was the perfect reading for for me!! I could not put this book down. I have to say, I didn't even see the ending coming until almost the end of the book. It was a clever twist!
