Cute and fast story about Cody Matthews who is back home after losing his way. He is out of the Army, worked in security and now is back home in Montana. He is using the excuse of helping his uncle at the Lucky B Ranch, but in reality, he is back home unsure of himself.
Hollywood actress and fellow resident Hayley Dawn O’Malley is back home too. Her grandmother has passed away and she is tending to her affairs. Hayley also needs a break from Hollywood. When strange things start to happen to Hayley in Montana, she uses the excuse to hire Cody as her security. In reality, Hayley always wonders what would have happened if things worked out between them.
I love second chance love stories. This one was cute. The ending felt a little rushed to me, but it was still cute and a fun read!

Who doesn't love a sexy firefighter/former Navy man??? Falling for Her Bachelor, has the best of everything!! Not only is Nick Palotay a hot sexy fireman, he is also the older brother of Cassidy Ware's best friend. A friend turned lover book??? Those are my absolute favorite kind!!
Nick is back in his hometown and he is signed up to be a bachelor for a charity event. Not liking where the event is heading, he asks his "friend" Cassidy to help him out, use his money and bid on him. No matter what it cost. What starts of as a "business arrangement" turns into more when Cassidy and Nick spend time together and see that they have a lot in common and actually like spending time together. Their chemistry is off the charts hot.
There is only one slight problem, Nick tells Cassidy right off the bat that this is only a temporary thing. He can't handle long term or falling in love. He has a sad past, and doesn't want to deal with love or loss again in his life. Cassidy agrees on his terms, thinking she can handle what he is offering.
Cassidy and Nick realize there is more feeling between them then they thought. Can they handle more?
I loved this story. It was a fast read for me, probably because I loved it so much!
