The Wedding Date was an ok read. Lots of drama (well for me anyways) and plot has been done before, but it was cute and fats paced.
James and Kate are getting their second chance. Years ago they went to the prom together. James was awkward and Kate was doing him a favor. Now Kate is back in her hometown (temporary she says) for a job, and now back in James's life.
Innocently she become James's wedding date to his sister's wedding. Then she becomes his fake girlfriend. Then things start to get real.
James's has a lot of baggage with his ex... who is still in his life. Kate is sweet and understanding.
