This was a perfect ending to an amazing series about what love should be about. I feel in love with Colton and Paige in book 1 and was completely vested in knowing what was on life’s journey for them. Author Alicia Rae did not disappoint.
Colton and Paige are trying to put the past behind them and move on. But Paige is still having trouble letting go of what happened. She knows she should let it go but when the town seems to coming to look and stare at her, she lets it get to her.
Colton is there to try to help her. He will do everything in his power to protect her. But how can he help her with what she is feeling inside? He will have to be creative with his ways.
As life starts to get back on track, the past sneaks back on them, causing havoc once again in their lives. When will Colton and Paige be able to just live without worry? As their friends and family rally around them, Colton decides to do what must be done to protect his family. With or without the law. This selfless act will cost him. But at what price would you pay to protect your own?
I loved this story and the ending was just magical. It was exactly as I would have pictured it. I am patiently waiting for what Author Alicia Rae will have for us.
