Title: Mia and the Bad Boy
Author: Lisa Burstein
Genre: Young Adult, Contemporary Romance
Publication: May 19th, 2015

This good girl’s about to meet her match…

Ryder Brooks is living the dream—he’s famous, loved by millions of girls, and miserable. All he really wants is to write his own music, not Seconds to Juliet’s sugary sweet pop. In order to do that, though, the “bad boy” of the band will have to play by the rules. And that includes behaving with his new—and super cute—über-good-girl tutor.

Mia Reyes is in fangirl heaven. Tutoring her favorite member of her favorite band? It’s a dream come true…until it turns into a complete nightmare. Ryder is nothing like she thought. He’s crude, arrogant, and pretty much a total jerk. And the worst part? She’s roped into pretending to be his girlfriend so that no one finds out he’s being tutored. Fake kisses, plenty of PDA, and even sharing his hotel room…

But sometimes even the baddest of bad boys needs a little redemption.

I want to start off by saying this book is young, Very young. Or maybe I am just old. This book mad eke think about my boy band crushes and that made me realizes how long ago that really was.

Mia is a good girl. She is very smart and very sweet. When she gets offered to tutor a boy band member so her can finish his GED, she jumps at the chance. It seems like a dream come true.

Ryder is your typical bad boy member, at least he wants to be. It is kinda hard when you are in a squeaky clean boy band, which people monitoring your every move. Ryder did not have the greatest childhood in foster care. So, Ryder dropped out of school and did what he could.

Mia goes on tour with the band to help tutor Ryder. He is embarrassed about not finishing school, and instead of telling his band mates, he wants to pretend that Mia is his girlfriend.

This is a very cute romance between two teens. They have chemistry and banter for days. This is a great story for all of us who wished they got to meet and fall in love with our boy band crush!! I am still holding out hope for NKTOB!!!
