BIO
T.A. Roth is a wife and mother of two funny and crazy kids. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. When she’s not beautifying clients as a stylist/make-up artist at her day job you can find her reading, fangirling her favorite authors, or singing along to the radio. After getting the opportunity to read the debut novel of a then client now friend something clicked. Her “what the hell” attitude kicked in and a year later, here we are.

This was a good first novel by T.A. Roth.
It is the story of Ari Munoz who is working and loving her life as any 22 year old would. She opted to skip college and work full time, giving her parents a break from paying college tuition Her best friend goes to college and forces Ari to sometimes live the college life with her. This includes going to parties and having fun. Ari is not into dating or parties. She is more of a homebody.
At a party Ari meets Ben Rodriguez. Ben has it all wrapped in one handsome bow. He is a football star, president of his fraternity, and well known ladies’ man. He is every girl's dream. The second Ben lays eyes on Ari, something happens to him. He feels something he hasn't felt before. Lucky for him, Ari's best friend is in his class and can help him out with Ari.
Love doesn't come easy to the couple. Ari is living with a horrible secret. Ben is new to relationships. Each of them has a jealous streak. Then, when all seems to be going smoothly. Ben suffers a great loss which bring back someone in Ari's past, which could ruin everything. The ending , I never saw coming.
This was a pretty good first novel. I didn't even know this was a new author until I looked it up on goodreads.com. Can't wait to see what happens in the next book!
