Monroe Hawkins knows he shouldn’t be messing with a girl from the uppity private college. Especially when he can tell she sees him as the help. But he’s having trouble resisting the redhead with the smart mouth and the killer legs. So when Natalie’s night goes from bad to worse, there’s no way he’s letting her spend her birthday alone. Ten hours, one motorcycle, and the city of Austin at their fingertips…things are about to take a major detour. And soon, there may be no U-turn in sight.

Author Bio:

Roni wrote her first romance novel at age fifteen when she discovered writing about boys was way easier than actually talking to them. Since then, her flirting skills haven’t improved, but she likes to think her storytelling ability has. Though she’ll forever be a New Orleans girl at heart, she now lives in Dallas with her husband and son.

If she’s not working on her latest sexy story, you can find her reading, watching reality television, or indulging in her unhealthy addiction to rockstars, er, rock concerts. Yeah, that's it. She is the National Bestselling Author of The Loving on the Edge series from Berkley Heat.

Nice Girls Don't Ride is another one of those books that gives you warm and fuzzes because it is  a fun read that is perfect for one sitting by a pool (which is exactly what I did).

Natalie thinks her 21st birthday is going to be everything she has dreamed of. She is supposed to go to a fancy dinner with her rich boyfriend. Instead it turns out to be the opposite of everything she has imagined. Her car breaks down, her boyfriend cancels on her and it just spirals from there.

Her knight in shining armour is a tow truck driver named Monroe. What starts off as bad boy meets good girls turns out to be so much more. Monroe comes to help Natalie out with her tow. He works at the repair shop and knows Natalie is way out of his league. When Natalie slightly loses her cool and spills her day to him, Monroe feels bad for Natalie knowing she is having a really bad day.

In a crazy chain of events, poor Natalie is spending her 21st birthday all alone, her boyfriend becomes her ex soon enough and Monroe can not let Natalie spend an important birthday alone and sad. Instead he lines up a crazy adventure for a 21st to remember.

The more time Natalie and Monroe spend together in their all night outing, the more fun they are having together. Monroe sees Natalie is more like him than he thought. She is not the stuck up rich girl he envisions and he is not the bad guy she thought.

This was a cute and fast read for me. I loved Natalie and Monroe's chemistry. Right off the bat their banter was enjoyable and not overdone. I fell in love with them as their story unfolded. It proved love could be found when you are not looking for it.
