Holy WOW!! What have I been missing ?? I read Chasing Desire last night... where have I been?? How have I been missing out on this series?? Joya Ryan, where have you been all my life? You know sure know how to write a steamy and hot novel. 

Smart independent heroine- check
Hot, tattooed, pierced and sweet hero- check

Autumn is in town visiting for her friend's wedding. She is in between jobs and a place to live, all because her father has gambled it all away. Instead of feeling sorry for herself, she picks up and moves on. She plasters a smile on her face and put her big girl panties on. Nothing will bring her down or ruin her friend's wedding.


The night before the wedding, she arrives in town and heads to the local bar. Something makes her throw caution to the wind and starts flirting with a hot stranger  She figures she will never see him again. What harm can come from it?  Autumn just wants to have fun one night and forget it all. 

Huck (great name by the way) is at the bar attending the SAME wedding. They don't know each other nor know that they are both friends with the bride and groom. Well their one night stand  isn't just one night. Huck tries to convince Autumn to have some fun while she is visiting. Autumn is staying to house sit for the bride and groom. To his luck she is staying for a few weeks. 

What Huck really wants seems more like a relationship. He tries to tell himself and everyone else it isn't . Huck has been so hurt by an ex he hasn't even looked at anyone else in that way in a long time. He is starting to have feelings for Autumn. He cares for her. Huck gets her a job at his dad's garage. He is all around sweet on her. 

Autumn is just as cynical as Huck when it comes to relationships. She isn't looking for romance and love. That is exactly what neither want, but can't seem to avoid. As much as they both try to run from
