Can I say that I want to be just like Izzy Gallo when I grow up? She was everything you want in a strong lead female character. Her story by far is my favorite out of the Men of Inked series and James, oh I think I love him. Although the bits and pieces that we have learned about Thomas has me very intrigued.
Izzy Gallo has learn how to be tough growing up with 4 older brothers. She does what she wants when she wants. She says whatever she feels and if you don’t like it too bad. She is such a free spirit with the ability to bring men to their knees. She is afraid to love; she does not want to end up like most women, by losing herself when she meets a man. But once she meets James, her body and heart start fighting with her mind on this thing called love.
James Caldo is your typical cocky, alpha male that will protect what is his with his life. He is a member of the DEA with Thomas Gallo, Izzy brother. Of course he knows the moment that he sees her that he wants her for himself. No matter if Thomas beats his ass. James feels as though he knows Izzy from years of listening about her from Thomas. James is willing to play this cat and mouse game with Izzy because he knows he always gets what he wants in the end.
Izzy tries to fight her attraction and desire for James but it is hard to resist when you really want to just wrap your arms around him and not let go. She is scared. But as they finally come to an agreement, she starts to let him in her walls around her heart. James knows without a doubt that he loves Izzy and she loves him. It is just a matter of time before she will admit it.
As things are going smoothly for them, James gets called back to work. It is the moment that Thomas and James have been working so hard for since they became DEA agents. As he leaves, he promises Izzy he will be back and will have Thomas with him even though he knows there are no guarantees.
There is a bit of a cliffy at the end of the book. I am so ready for Thomas’s story!!
Chelle Bliss has out done her self with this book. Kudos to you for sharing a little more of the Gallo family with us. I have said if before, I want to be a member of that family.
